This recognition fills us with pride, especially being acknowledged by such a prestigious company as Gmund Paper. With its long-standing tradition of sustainable production in Germany, Gmund Paper is a benchmark for those, like us, who strive to blend innovation, design, and environmental responsibility. Every year, their Unfolded Festival showcases the best designers and projects that utilize their fine papers. This year’s festival, held under the theme “Fibers & Brands”, gathered professionals from around the world for a dynamic mix of conferences, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.
Out of over 600 competing projects, our work in packaging innovation stood out, earning us a spot in the highly competitive Green Innovation category.
A content-rich event full of opportunities
During the Unfolded Festival, we had the privilege of participating in engaging discussions and conferences. Twenty-four international speakers, representing brands like Leica, BMW, Hermès, and Paper & Tea, offered valuable insights on topics ranging from analog communication to customer loyalty and the role of materiality in brand experiences. The presentations were more than just theoretical—they sparked meaningful discussions on the concrete steps brands can take to meet the challenges of sustainability.
We were particularly inspired by the emphasis on transparent, fact-based sustainability rather than symbolic gestures. This is an approach we share and are committed to applying across all aspects of our work.
The award ceremony was the event’s highlight, marking the 10th anniversary of the Gmund Awards and honoring the best printing projects across eight categories. Our project was exhibited as a prime example of innovative and sustainable packaging. The recognition from such a distinguished jury confirms that we are on the right path.
